In 2014, Alicia made a mini-pilgimage to Sedona, AZ, as millions do every year, to find the famous ‘vortexes’. Many people believe that these high-energy spots are sacred, and have magical properties. Seekers are instructed to pray or meditate on these spots to experience a range of metaphysical properties or heightened awareness. Four vortex sites were visited while hiking in areas around Sedona: at Boynton Canyon, Fay Canyon, the Cathedral, and at the Sedona Airport.
